With digital radiography, the X-ray image is recorded and stored on a computer rather than traditional plain film X-ray. Benefits of digital X-rays are excellent image quality, easier storage and transfer of images, multiple copies can be made and sent with no risk of original X-ray film being lost or damaged and they less harmful to the environment — toxic chemicals used to manufacture and develop X-rays are not longer needed.
Depending on your specific condition, we may take X-rays to rule out a more serious condition or use the X-Rays as a diagnostic tool to properly create the most effective treatment plan for you. You will be able to see your X-Rays in just seconds after taking them. Most of our patients are amazed to see their spine, and can often times spot their own misalignments.
